Neginah (music) is the most potent force to raise the soul. The "Tikkun K'lali" is the ten Tehillim (Psalms) that Rebbe Nachman extracted to represent the ten types of neginah. Reciting Tikkun K'lali effects tikkun ha'bris (sexual rectification). The main cause of depression and insanity is because of p'gam ha'bris (damaging sexual purity). The ten types of neginah correspond to ten spices of the ketores (incense) that raise up the eleventh, foul smelling, spice.
