We need to abandon the need to understand everything and serve Hashem simply, even if we appear mad. Our actions should always exceed our understanding. Anything that is the ratzon (will of) Hashem is termed a mitzvah. Sometimes it's ratzon Hashem to listen quietly to a relative criticizing Judaism. Serving Hashem in simplicity will strengthen the intellect and merit us to understand things higher than the intellect.
