Between 1948 and 1967 the Jews were poor people, struggling for mere survival. In 1967 G-d gave the Jews a precious stone in the form of new territory in our Holy Land. We lost Gush Katif, but we have to trust that G-d has a much greater plan in store. Eretz Yisrael belongs to all Jews not just a select group of settlers.
