Description

Rebbe Nachman returned from Eretz Yisrael. Rebbe Nachman visited the Ba’al Hatanya in L’yadi. We discuss one of Rebbe Nachman’s shortest stories, about a poor man who found a diamond, then lost the diamond, but acted happy anyway. The Jews in Galus (exile) constantly struggle for survival. A sudden blessing can open many new windows of opportunity. Receiving a blessing from a child or marriage partner, can infuse a whole new meaning into our mundane lives. We mistakenly view G-d as a servant who is responsible to tend to our needs.
