This is a continuation of the first teaching in the Likutay Maharan (the magnum opus of Rebbe Nachman.) The Torah is compared to sunlight since both are sources of illumination. A parable is told of a person who can not see the huge mountain in front of him because his vision is blocked by a coin on his nose. The words of Torah are responsible for the entire world’s existence. Everything in the world wants to be used for the service of G-d. We must learn from the moon to utterly reflect the words of Torah without adding our own rationalizations. The ability to be a reflective vessel is the quality of rulership and is symbolized by the letter nun (fourteenth letter in Hebrew alphabet.)
