Description

It is explained in parshas Vayera how we have fallen into Galus (exile). The middos ha’din (Divine retribution) and middos ha'rachamim (Divine Mercy) intertwine with one another providing the backdrop for each galus, including this one. Middos ha'din cannot ultimately exist in this world, and therefore the redemption can only come about through a revelation of rachamim.
