Description

When Yaacov wore Aisav's beged (garment) to deceive his father, he considered himself a boged (traitor). Kedushas ha'bris (sexual purity) is the biggest test of our generation. The order of the sedras (weekly Torah readings) reflect the order of the sefiros. Toldos is the sixth sedra, representing yesod (foundation), Yoseph and kedushas ha'bris. Hashem's covenant fortifies us with the knowledge that we will endure to the end of time. Yishmael can't be called our cousin, because the covenant is determined by ideology, not by biology.
