Description

P. 146. Continuing in the ma'amar Histaklus HaChayuvis (looking for the positive). Moshiach is going to reveal to every one of us how great we really are, and that will help us to do teshuvah, and become tzaddikim. The Ba'al Shem Tov turned this practice of melamed zechus (finding the positive) into a way of life. Rav Kook says that the generation is completely chayav (guilty) externally, but completely zakai (innocent) internally. Eliyahu comes before Moshiach in order to resolve all conflicts, so that when Moshiach comes, nobody will be able to argue against their own good. In all of the ups and downs, we should see that the powers of the neshama are struggling with the powers of the body. Having rachmanus (compassion) on someone awakens love for them. The tzaddikim dig to find that good in everyone.
