P. 144. Continuing in the ma'amar Histaklus HaChayuvis (looking for the positive). Hashem looks deeply into everything we do to find the inner good in it. Ever since the Baal Shem Tov came into the world, the geshmak (enjoyment) of doing an aveira (sin) is gone from the world. People make themselves angry through doing aveiros. A cheit (sin) makes a Jew sick. The Baal Shem Tov's path is to reach the emes l'amiso (truth of truth), which is the deepest good at the root of everything, not to find the true negative in oneself. On Rosh Hashana, Hashem remembers everything from the side of good. The nefesh Elokis (G-dly soul) naturally wants to look at the positive in everything.
