Description
P. 53. What we Jews do affects all of the olamos (worlds) and the roots of Creation. The non-Jews can only have an affect on this world, "under the sun". Da'as goy (the non-Jewish knowing) can stretch to the limits of the world, but not beyond. The Netziv says that after Adam ate from the tree, he began to see himself as the center of existence. Saying that mitzvos are symbols for something spiritual is da'as goy. Ruchanius (spirituality) is reality, not an emotional state or perspective. Our job is to connect with the spiritual reality that is true and real.
