P. 38. In relationships, the Chochmah and Binah people need to learn how to live together. The woman's shoresh (root) is in Binah. The dangers of being stuck in a Binah mode is that a person could get stuck and lost in frivolous details. The Binah personality needs to rise up to a place of Chochmah to absorb nekudos (points) of light and to use them to expand. Parents make a big mistake when they lower themselves to be like their children. When we are challenged by a person in life, it is a challenge for us to grow. We must be very careful to not be influenced by other people's bad middos (traits). The Jewish people are called 'Am Chacham V'Navo' - a nation that has both Chochmah and Binah.
