Description

Two reasons are given for Shabbos: remembering Bereishis (the Creation) and Yetzias Mitzrayim (departing from Egypt). Why doesn't the first of the 10 Commandments identify Hashem as the Creator of the world and yet Shabbos does. Gentile who keeps Shabbos is obligated in death. Dispute between Reb. Bunim and the Kotzker: where a Jew gets their Hisorrerus (arousal) for his avodas (service of) Hashem. Only after our hearts are awakened, can we draw ahava (love) and yirah (awe) from this world. Explaining the opinion that mitzvos will not exist in the future.
