P. 80 in the commentary, 10th perek. The aliyah (elevation) of ra (evil) through bringing it into the tov (good) draws the kedusha of the Shechina into the world. The main job in this world is to separate out the good from the bad in the world of the permitted - food, relationships, sleep, work, etc. The mitzvos we do here stimulate the influences that come down to us from above. The nachas that we give to Hashem goes higher than and unites the opposites. A ben aliyah wants to elevate everything in the world and to bring down great spiritual influence into the world.
