Description

P. 300 in the commentary (7th perek). With food, it is very clear what is imprisoned in the three impure klipos and what is not. What makes it more difficult is that the unkosher food is inherently assur (forbidden), unlike in forbidden relations, where only the action is assur. During the conquering of Eretz Yisrael, we were permitted to eat unkosher food, because Hashem permitted it. A person who eats unkosher food unwittingly and then goes to learn Torah, gets no spiritual chibur (connection).
