Description

P. 238. (6th perek). Why does something not have Hashem in the intention, why is there a breaking of the ruach (spirit)? Kedusha (holiness) is separating from what is bad and connecting to that which is good, and also when one feels the light of Hashem. The way to receive the Hashem's light is through bitul (emptying out of the self). Real bitul is considering oneself to have no chashivus (self-importance) compared to Hashem. The ultimate bitul is to live with mesirus nefesh (giving over our life) for Hashem, which all Jews have the potential to do, though it might not be awakened right now. A Jew can do anything.
