Description
P. 233. (6th perek). A person with a small mind will become excited by small things. To the extent that the sechel (intellect) grows, what stimulates the middos (character traits) grows. The middos of the nefesh behamis (the animal soul) need no intellect to be aroused, however involving the sechel in deeply thinking about the nefesh behamis's taiva (lust) will arouse the middos. The nefesh behamis uses the three levushim (garments) of thought, speech, and action of impurity to express itself. A person who is completely enclothed in the nefesh behamis can begin to see Elokus (G-dliness) as foreign and weird.
