Description

P. 198. (4th perek), and beginning the 5th perek. Doing a mitzvah, even without the emotional experience of yira (awe) and ahava (love), is actually hugging the King. The reality of the effect of fulfilling mitzvos should saturate every part of our lives. When we understand something in Torah, we grasp it and surround it, and then our mind becomes enclothed in the particular idea which has its root in Hashem's infinite ratzon (will). Like food is to the body, so is Torah to the nefesh (soul) when we stretch our minds to understand. In Gan Eden, where we go after we leave this world, our mazon (food) will be the Torah that we learned in this world.
