Description

P. 195. (4th perek). The main attachment the neshama (soul) has with Hashem is through doing mitzvos while in a body. Even though we do not feel dveykus (bonding) with Hashem while doing mitzvos, we must know that we actually are in dveykus. The mitzvos do not conceal Hashem's light. The world desperately wants and needs to have a connection to Malchus (royalty), to true Malchus which is Hashem. Our ability to experience embracing the King without being distracted by his clothing is dependent on the refinement of our body and our nefesh behamis (animalistic soul). An ish pnimi (inner person) feels the King. The Torah is Hashem reaching out and giving us a hug with his right hand. Is there any greater love that the Infinite King giving us his light through the mitzvos?
