Description

Page 169 (4th perek). When we are learning, our sechel (intellect) is enclothed in thoughts of Torah. Ahava (love) is the root of the 248 positive mitzvos. Ahava does not only motivate us to do, it is required, and needs to saturate the doing of the mitzvah. The way to have true dveykus (bonding) is by actually doing the mitzvos. In human relationships, the greater the feelings of ahava, the greater the dveykus. However, human emotions do not create dveykus between a person and Hashem.
