The greater the neshamah (soul), the greater the potential for destruction; but even the greatest sinners have a tiny spark of yiddishkeit within them. Ultimately, even the level of the neshamah does not entirely depend on the choices that we make as human beings. The importance of the parents' thoughts and intentions when the child is conceived.
