Description

p. 16. The path of Chassidus (devoutness) awakens the pnimius (inner essence) of Jews. The mistake of trying to fix specific character flaws without revealing our neshomoh (soul) and working on attachment to Hashem. A healthy person will not do something that endangers his essence - a Jew's Yiddishkeit is his essence. "At war with Hashem?" - only if our neshomoh is not revealed. Not just how to perform the mitzvah, but how to EXPERIENCE the mitzvah. Uncomfortable with my Judaism, or uninhibited Yiddishkeit? Why the Rebbe wrote the sefer (book). The entire sefer Tanya is based on one passuk (phrase) in the Torah. To serve Hashem with my heart.
