Description

If an individual humbly approaches the Tzaddik (righteous man) longing to grow, the tzaddik can lift him up. If a person is not a receiving vessel, the tzadik is unable to influence him. Yaakov Avinu (Jacob) saw that Efraim was more open to receive the blessing than Menashe. Even those who are open to receive from the Rebbe, do not reap nearly as much benefit as the chassidim from yesteryear.
