Why is it that the talmidim of the Baal Shem became know as chassidim and the light he brought down is referred to as the light of chassidus? Chassidus is the beginning of relevation of Moschiach. Chassidus is a continuation of prophecy. Transformation possible via attachment to a prophet. Even a simple Jew can catch on fire from attachement to a Rebbe.
