Description

Two general paths that chassidus took after the Baal Shem Tov of Avodas hamoach (using the mind) and p'shitus pnimiyus (simple inner faith). We should not give in to the appearance of the world. Hashem is beyond all barriers. When Moshiach comes our eyes will be different. Tanya is the basic chassidishe sefer exemplifying the "long but short way". Other seforim of avodah pshita (simple faith) are also filled with war against the evil inclination. The illusion of this world is very compelling and has taken us away from the path so close to the palace of the King.
