Description

Traditional kabbalistic (Jewish mystical) teachings are merely wrapped in a new garment In the teachings of chassidus. The physical descriptions of spiritual phenomena are only meshalim (parables). When we say that a person has a “good head,” we are really referring to his wisdom. When we refer to “G-d’s head,” we are describing His wisdom. A physical head and spiritual wisdom both originate from the same spiritual root. Snow is a mashul (parable) for purity. A mashul from holy sources is not like a fable of a fox.
