Description

If we genuinely love G-d, we automatically love every Jew. Only Jews have true free choice. Non-Jews don’t have a G-dly souls so their motivation can never be purely altruistic. Before chassidus, service of G-d was primarily intellectual; Chassidus taught us to serve G-d through physical means. According to chassidus, the purpose of Torah learning is deveikus (connection) to G-d. It is not enough to have the proper kavanos (thoughts); they have to be put into practice.
