Description
The Ba’al Shem Taught us how to find the light within the guf (body). The Chassidim never frowned upon an individual who went out to earn a living. Everything has potential for kedusha (holiness). The mikvah (immersion waters) is a shmira (protection) for the guf (body). Even the taiva (desire) for znus (inappropriate relations) has roots of holiness. If used incorrectly, Chassidus is liable to cause us to become steeped in the physical world. Only after we have reached a high enough level in our own Judaism, can we enter unholy places to spread Judaism.
