Description

Through mitzvos, physical things of this world are transformed and sanctified. A ba'al avodah (person involved in service of Hashem), coming into the proximity of a navi (prophet), will sense the kedusha (holiness) and be raised to a higher level. The tzaddik (righteous person) is a powerful light, affecting everybody differently, according to their level and preparation. We hear nevu'ah (prophecy), but it doesn't touch us - every person understands on his own level. A ma'aseh (story) from the Kedushas Levi - pleasures of this world. The essence of a mitzvah (commandment) - fullfilling Hashem's desire; the essence of nevu'ah (prophecy) - the person should HEAR Hashem and experience him.
