Description

The path of the Ba'al Shem Tov is a continuation of the ways of the nevi'im (prophets). The navi is not just somebody who sees the future. The difficulty in describing a malach (angel), a navi, or a neshomoh (holy soul). Different labels for prophets based on their perceived function. Mistaken perception of what a navi truly is. Prophecy is a very specifc level of serving Hashem. Great talmidei chachamim (learned) are not merely lecturers.
