Liars, thieves, and inconsistent people should not be let into the chevraya (group). A member should have a positive self image and be an uplifted person. A member should have goals and purpose in life. Dressing in a modest way indicates an understanding of personal worth. Parents who dress special on Shabbos make a positive impression on the children. There should not be arrogance or conceit among the group members. The members should see themselves as separated for and dedicated to Hashem.
