Description

When a destructive middah (trait) surfaces, say certain verses from the Torah to weaken it. Envisioning a bad thought as a hungry monster helps to push it away. By talking about lusts, we can actually fall into them. It is possible to do something good that is not true. It is possible to pay attention, but to not really be present. The hardest time to get out of a lust is in the middle of fulfilling it. Some unknowingly scream at the yetzer hara (evil inclination) with the yetzer hara itself.
