The goal of a Jew is to lift the fallen holy back into holiness. We need to recognize the evil inside of us and how it works. Like a doctor's physical healing advice, there are also spiritual advices that heal. Taking action and even thinking without a settled mind is dangerous. If we have not worked on the trait of rushing, we have not accomplished anything. When we remove impurity, then new emotions enliven our service of G-d. When we add light, evil dissipates. If I have power, then I have to take responsibility.
