Description
All events of the day are opportunities to have a relationship with G-d. We need to learn to turn to G-d with our problems and worries. The purpose of the Yamim Noraim (High Holy Days) is to have closeness with G-d. When speaking to G-d, the worries of the world do not seem so important. The shofar is a Jew's sighs. Like a child calls to a parent for connection, so do we with G-d. Even the desires of the animal soul have a holy source. Our job is to extract holiness from an unholy garment.
