Using imagination in Torah learning awakens emotions. Every Jew is naturally emotional. We are obligated to soften our hearts with holy feelings. The Torah is contained within the heart and mind of every Jew. Every part of us needs to be brought into Torah. We have no idea of the greatness of the simplest Jew. We can lose touch with being Jew through all of the shmutz (filth) that we pick up in galus (exile). If we keep working hard on growing, we will see growth.
