Description

Every Jew contains the conflicting drives of Yaakov and Esav. Only with strong machshava (thought) and imagination can we direct our emotions and attain chassidus. Me'or V’shemesh: it is mesiras nefesh (self-sacrifice) to transform the physical into the spiritual. Don’t be discouraged by the high level described by the seforim kedoshim (Holy Books). We’re obligated in even the highest avodah (service) according to our own level, with all our strength. Tzadikim make high levels accessible for us.
