Everything is created to reveal the essence of Hashem. A Jew is defined by the degree to which he reveals the kedushas (holiness of) Hashem. If we know that our tafkid (role) is to be an eved (servant of) Hashem we are on the right track of unifying Hashem & the Jewish People.
