Description

How does a Jew hold onto his Judaism in face of persecution and hardship? Every Jew is connected to a higher entity of malchus (royalty) called “knesses Yisrael” (the congregation of Israel). Soon the day will come when the “husband” (Hashem) of knesses Yisrael will come and save her. Sometimes on Shabbos our ruach (soul) becomes uplifted in shul (synagogue) at the reality of the holiness of the Jewish People as an exalted bride-queen. Eishes Chayil is sung (on Friday night) in praise of the devotion of the Jewish people to Hashem.
