Description

Our tefillah (prayer) is enhanced by doing avodas Hashem throughout the day. We are not doing Hashem a favor by davening- Hashem is doing us a favor by letting us daven. Is tefillah greater than learning Torah or is learning Torah greater than tefillah? A true eved (servant of) Hashem must work continually on both tefillah and learning Torah. Learning Torah isn’t a cold intellectual pursuit. The goal of our learning should be to become connected to Hashem. Moshiach will be the integration of both learning Torah and tefillah. We should train ourselves to daven to Hashem for help with our own avodas Hashem. By helping out a weaker person, a person becomes stronger.
