Description

We can connect to Hashem on the level of nefesh (soul) more than on the level of Chochma, Binah, Daas (the level of intelligence). A small machshava (thought) can cause a real life change. Avodah (spiritual work) without machshava or visa versa will have no impact on our avodah . We can increase our kavannah (concentration) by realizing the broad machshava that Hashem rules the world. Hisorrerus (spiritual arousal) comes from thinking about simple things in this world that we are familiar with like smell, sight, memories, etc..
