Explanation of "L'Shem Yichud" that is said before performing some mitzvah's. A Jew does a mitzvah for the sake of unifying HaKadosh Baruch Hu with the Schecinah (Divine Presence). Everything in this world was created to reveal their bond with Hashem. Each Jew is a unique representative of the Jewish People. Hashem has given us physical actions called mitzvahs in order to reveal the presence of Hashem in this world at specific times and places. Chassidus works reveal the nefesh of a Jew.
