Chassidus is the cure for the weakening of Torah studies. Learning Chassidis reveals our soul and causes us to connect to G-d. The only thing that can help us overcome our troubles in the world is closeness to G-d. We learn Torah because we love Torah. Pashtus (simplicity) helps us be happy. We need to love the Torah and thereby we will want to learn it and see the good in it.
