Intellectually a Jew knows what is wrong but his heart is not broken. To learn “haskafah” is to ask- what is the real “Jew.” HaShem’s love for each and every Jew is boundless. We are limited intellectually, but our hearts can ignite ourselves. The tachlis (purpose) of life is deivkus (cleaving) to HaShem. What gentiles say about us should not shock us, but what we say about ourselves should shock us. A Jew is the "son of the King". A Jew has to feel that his head can be filled with filth from the environment.
