Description

Uprooting the disease of egoism (obsession with the self) which starts at an early age. Sephardim have greater derech eretz (respect) for parents and rebbeim than Ashkenazim. Very easy today for a parent or teacher to disqualify themselves as worthy of honor and respect. Anytime that parents diminish the stature of a rebbi (male teacher) or morah (female teacher) on any level they are guilty of murdering their child. Every Jew is a messenger of Hashem in this world and is worthy of respect. A Jew becomes a k'li kibbul (vessel) for the light of Hashem through his humility.
