Today’s children require excitement in Torah to counteract worldly excitement that previous generations did not have to deal with. Parents/Teachers must make Torah competitive. The ideal old world method of doing first and feeling later is no longer viable. Torah without excitement becomes a mere label of Orthodoxy without any real meaning. Chassidus from a young age is the only surefire method for long lasting chinuch.
