Description

We waited all of parshat Lech Lecha to allow for the birth of Yitzchak, but Vayeira begins with a number of stories before finally introducing Yitzchak and then having him reach his potential at the Akeidah. What is the nature of this progression? How does the Akeidah see Yitzchak's fulfillment? And how does this play into the movement from Avraham and the middah of chessed into Yitzchak and the middah of gevurah?
