Description

Man is brought to this world as an agent (Shali'ach) of Hashem. This shlichut requires taking an oath to demonstrate the absolute commitment of the agent. Such is the oath taken by Eliezer in Parshat Chayei Sara. The death of Sara and its impact upon the covenantal community is analyzed in this shiur.
