Description

Pages 39-42. Living lives of separation has become the norm for Jews is exile. This reality, of exile, is compared to a deep slumber. If we want to work out our differences, we can. However, many people choose not to. This is rooted in the deep slumber of the Divine Presence (Shechina). Our job is to arouse the Shechina, and live the true reality of the oneness and unity. This main part of redemption is dependent on waking up from the slumber of exile, the separate existences we live. The end (keitz) shares the same root as wake up (hakitzu). The end is dependent on our arousal from a deep exilic sleep, revealing the essential life force of everything.
