This Pshat shiur on the sugya of Pikuach Nefesh & Safek Nefashos L'Hakel will introduce the Halochot regarding violation of the Shabbos for the sake of a chole sheyesh bo sakana, i.e. in order to save a life. We will discuss the question of one who needs medical treatment for 8 days, are we to postpone his treatment on the first Shabbos & thereby minimizing the damage an violating only one shabbos rather than two. Under what circumstances can the medical opinion of a non-Jewish physician determine that the vote is cast in favor of violating the Shabbos?
