In this shiur on the status of a lulav of Avodah Zara, we will focus our attention on the view of the Rambam. Why is this lulav disqualified? Why does the Rambam distinguish between a lulav of Asheira and a lulav of Avodah zara? Why does the Rambam equate this case with that of a stolen lulav? Does the Rambam reject the concept of Kitusei Mectas Shiurei? We will analyze the Rambam re: a sandal shel chalitza which was Avodah Zara as well as a Korah of Avodah Zara for an Eiruv.
