We will begin our study of Melacha She'eina Tzricha L'gufa, and see two independent controversy's. The first with regard to the meaning of the word "gufa", is it the Guf HaMelacha, or the Guf upon which the melacha is performed. The second issue is about the word "Tricha", does it refer to the subjective need of the violater, or to the objective need of others?
